Alma de Blanco Godello wine is made with Godello grapes from selected vineyards throughout the Monterrei Valley. The diverse soils, from granitic and sandy soils to sedimentary and schist soils, produce distinct wines that contribute distinct nuances to our Godello wine. All our grapes are hand-picked and selected at their peak ripeness, producing fresh and fruity wines with clear fruity nuances (pear, melon, stone fruit, etc.).
The winemaking process begins with the manual harvesting of the bunches into 15 kg boxes. They are immediately transported to the winery, where pressing takes place, and the resulting must is transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation begins at a controlled temperature. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is racked and remains in contact with its fine lees for approximately three months before being released onto the market.
It pairs perfectly with tapas, such as appetizers, poultry, fish and seafood, and sushi.
